The Mississippi Peacemakers is a Cowboy Action Shooting Club affiliated with the Single Action Shooting Society (SASS).  We shoot on the 3rd Saturday of every month rain or shine.  Registration begins at 8:00 AM followed by opening ceremonies and a shooter's meeting at 9:00 AM.

Normally, we shoot five stages involving single action pistols, lever or pump action rifles and shotguns at each stage.  The guns use lead bullets fired at steel targets.  All guns must be pre-1897 or replicas thereof.  Visitor's are welcome and you might even get to fire off a couple of rounds.  Please make sure you have eye and ear protection.  Since we shoot real bullets, safety is our number one priority.  For newcomers, here are our safety rules.

A Note from Up A Creek
Just a few words.  I'm not dead yet.  May is national awareness month.  Come September it will be time to dig deep.  ALS is going to kill me.  I never had believed that I would have this disease.  I can't walk, and talk, but I have time to be with my family.  If you have time, read up on ALS at www.als.org and when your asked next time to give -- be mindful it could be you next.  I hope wish well and hope to hear from ya'll soon.   Remember, you are close to my heart and in my mind.  C U later.  UP A CREEK
