The
Mississippi Peacemakers is a Cowboy Action Shooting Club affiliated
with the Single Action Shooting Society (SASS). We shoot on
the
3rd Saturday of every month rain or shine. Registration
begins at
8:00 AM followed by opening ceremonies and a shooter's meeting at 9:00
AM.
Normally, we shoot five stages involving single action pistols, lever or pump action rifles and shotguns at each stage. The guns use lead bullets fired at steel targets. All guns must be pre-1897 or replicas thereof. Visitor's are welcome and you might even get to fire off a couple of rounds. Please make sure you have eye and ear protection. Since we shoot real bullets, safety is our number one priority. For newcomers, here are our by-laws and safety rules. SASS Covenants.

site are: from US Highway 49 that runs between
Jackson and Hattiesburg, go to Mendenhall where US Highway 49
intersects with State Highway 13. Take Highway 13 South for
3.3
miles until you get to Peacemaker Road on your left. Turn on
Peacemaker Road and go .7 miles. The range is on the right.
